02Engineering

Fire protection engineering, in house

Every fire protection system is engineered before it is built. The question is by whom. Most contractors advertise system design and send the engineering to a subcontractor. Ours happens in house, on the same team as the crews who install, test, and stand behind the work.

In San Luis Obispo County, nearly every fire protection project requires review by a fire protection engineer. We design for that review from the first drawing, so plan check holds fewer surprises.

Bring us your plans
  • Plan review & consulting

Detailed plan reviews, code consulting, and submittal support for owners, architects, and general contractors, on our projects or yours.

  • System design

Complete system design to NFPA standards and your fire authority’s requirements, from early concept through permit submittal.

  • One team, start to finish

Licensed fire protection engineering resources and certified technicians under one roof, from the first drawing to the final inspection.

03Why WFP

A value-added partner, not just a typical specialty contractor

Technical depth
Licensed fire protection engineering resources and certified technicians can troubleshoot projects at any level of complexity.
Turnaround
Design and engineering happen in-house, not through subcontractors, so drawings, answers, and crews move faster.
